lbert E. Blair was born in Bremerhaven, Germany.  His father served in the military, and Mr. Blair was raised in a number of different countries throughout the world.  Mr. Blair attended Northeast Louisiana University, located in Monroe Louisiana.  He obtained his Bachelor of Arts 1988 and then obtained his Juris Doctrine from Nova Southeastern University in 1993. 

In 1993, while attending law school, Mr. Blair served internship with the Broward County Juvenile Public Defenders office for the Broward County Criminal Court.  He was admitted into the Florida Bar in 1993 and to the United States District Court, Southern District Court of Florida in 1994. 

Mr. Blair has over 17 years experience in the practice areas of construction litigation, commercial litigation, insurance litigation, arbitration and mediation.  He has successfully represented numerous design professionals including Architects, Engineers, Surveyors and CEIs on issues ranging from contract disputes, serious injury cases as well as multi-party construction disputes with claims in excess of $20 million.  Additional areas of practice include claims from developers and/or owners for delay and lost profits in excess of $10 million. 

Mr. Blair is an active member of the Florida Bar and routinely participates in pro bono work for the community.
