Clinton “Clint” A. Wright III graduated with highest honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance in 1988. Thereafter, he graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Wright served as a member of the University of Florida Law Review, obtained publication of a major law review article, and was awarded by the Order of the Coif for high attainments in the study of law.
After graduation, Mr. Wright obtained the highest score on the Florida Bar Examination for the fall of 1992. Mr. Wright is a member of the Florida Bar, the Bar of the Middle District of Florida, and the Bar of the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition, he is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Institute of Architects, The Associated General Contractors, The Society for Design Administration and the Forum on the Construction Industry of The American Bar Association.
Mr. Wright is a frequent lecturer on construction industry and litigation topics, including presentations for nationally recognized professional education organizations. He has presented programs on topics including construction defect litigation, Florida construction lien law, Florida public procurement law, and law impacting design professionals.
Mr. Wright concentrates his practice in the area of construction litigation and construction transactional law (including construction contracts and other agreements required by construction professionals). Mr. Wright has tried numerous construction matters to verdict, both before juries and judges, and has extensive administrative and appellate experience. His experience includes not only construction litigation, but also a wide variety of other complex, commercial litigation.
The types of clients which Mr. Wright has represented over the years include contractors, architects, owners, engineers, municipalities, counties, construction managers, state corporations, corporate officers and directors, and financial institutions, among many others.
