ordan C. Kay was born in Miami, Florida. Mr. Kay attended the University of Florida and earned a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Advertising. Then, in 2008, he earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University.

While attending law school, Mr. Kay interned for the North Carolina Attorney General, Victim and Citizens Services Unit, in 2006, under the direction of Attorney General Roy Cooper. Additionally, Mr. Kay clerked for a private practice personal injury firm in Gainesville, Florida and with Daniels Kashtan firm prior to joining the practice. 

Mr. Kay was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2008, to the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida in 2010, to the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit in 2010, and the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida in 2011.
