Neil P. Robertson - born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has been a Floridian since age 7. He grew up in Tampa where he attended and graduated from the University of South Florida Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics. He then attended and graduated from Duke University School of Law in 1979. Afterwards he settled for his professional career in Miami, Florida where he is engaged in a wide range of insurance defense practice. Mr. Robertson joined Daniels, Kashtan in 2000 and currently is a shareholder in the firm. Mr. Robertson is admitted to practice in all Florida courts, as well as the United States Southern and Middle Mistrict Courts. He has served the Bar as a Florida Bar Representative to the Statewide Judicial Nominating Commission for Judges of Workers Compensation Claims. He has been active in the Dade County Defense Bar throughout his career, holding all offices, including President of the organization. He is currently Chair of the Leadership Florida Institute. Mr. Robertson is a member of the Florida Bar and the Dade County Bar Association. He is a member of the American Bar Association. The Defense Research Institute, The International Association of Insurance Defense Counsel. He has served his community as a Trustee of the Dade Heritage Trust. Mr. Robertson is primarily involved in representing design professionals, however, he has an extensive background in personal injury defense litigation, products liability and premises liability. Mr. Robertson is a Certified and County Court Mediator. Mr. Robertson is married to Alyce and has two daughters, Anne Marie and Katherine.
