Florida Law Firm Daniels Kashtan Opens New Corporate Law Practice

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – October 31, 2011 – Florida law firm Daniels Kashtan announces its newest expansion in the form of a new corporate law division that opened earlier this month. The new practice is based in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and is lead by Stephen D. Rubin. Rubin and his team will work closely with the firm’s other offices enhancing the firm’s existing capabilities to serve clients throughout Florida.

Although the firm already has several attorneys with transactional experience, Daniels Kashtan has not had a corporate partner until now. Rubin, who has been practicing for over 13 years, worked with other major law firms where he has served his clients’ most basic to most complex coporate needs.

“The launch of our new corporate practice is exciting,” says managing partner Michael Kashtan. “With the addition of Steve, we are creating the opportunity to serve the needs of our diverse and varied clients.”
Rubin’s practice includes mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, corporate finance, joint ventures and strategic alliances, business organization, entity selection and formation, shareholder, partnership and LLC agreements, buy‐sell and voting agreements, employment and independent contractor agreements, confidentiality, non‐competition and non‐solicitation agreements, technology law, and commercial agreements.

Rubin has been named a Top Up & Comer in 2009, 2010 and 2011 by the South Florida Legal Guide. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of South Florida in 1994, he graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 1998.
