Daniels Kashtan Expands Miami Practice with New Partner Kravetz

Miami, Fla. – Daniels, Kashtan, Downs, Robertson, & McGirney, P.A. has expanded its practice in Florida with the addition of award-winning attorney Scott D. Kravetz. Recognized in 2010 by Florida Super Lawyers, Kravetz joins the firm’s Miami office as a partner in commercial and construction litigation.

“Scott’s arrival at the firm is another step forward for Daniels Kashtan, as we expand our depth in commercial and construction litigation,” said founding partner Richard Daniels. “He is a proven and experienced litigator, who will no doubt exceed our expectations.”

Kravetz practices in all areas of civil litigation, with extensive experience in construction defect and delay cases, including design defect litigation, payment and performance bond litigation, cost overrun litigation as well as other complex real estate litigation matters. He has represented receivers in several large, complex receiverships, and represented lenders with multiple workouts in connection with defaulting loans on active construction projects.

The University of Miami – School of Law graduate has successfully represented numerous owners and developers in projects at all levels of complexity ranging from simple contract disputes to construction disputes with claims in excess of $50 million. Kravetz’ practice also involves providing day-to-day guidance to clients on some of the largest construction projects in Florida.

Kravetz is admitted to the Florida Bar and to the United States District Court for both the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He also received an ‘AV’ rating for 10 consecutive years from Martindale-Hubbell, the national legal directory.
